After his tenure as a military, he went to work in an advertising industry. He first worked as a copywriter. After that, he worked as a creative directive for 2 of the most successful advertising agencies of the nation. As the part of his duties, Clive produced radio and TV commercials.

Among them, one is in 2002 when he was awarded the Naval Heritage Award from the United States Navy Memorial Foundation for the effort he did in the area of marine exploration.
