Tess Daly is originally from Stockport, Cheshire, England. She came into this world on 27th April of the year 1969 which has now made her reach at the age of 49. She was born as the eldest child among two children to her parents Vivian Daly and Sylvia Daly.

Daly was grown up in Birch Vale near New Mills, Derbyshire. Her other family members also include her younger sister named Karen. For the education, Tess went to study at the Hayfield Primary School. After that, she got enrolled at New Mills Secondary School from where she gained her 9 O-levels.

A pretty Tess Daly is married to her husband named Vernon Kay who is a DJ and TV presenter. The couple tied their knots with each other on 12th September of the year 2003 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church located in Horwich, near Bolton.

Tess Daly: Professional life and Career

At the beginning of her career, Tess was scouted outside the McDonalds’ restaurant while she was waiting for her sister in Manchester. Just 6 weeks after turning 18, she undertook her first professional modeling job in Tokyo.

After getting a series of work assignments across Europe and Asia while based in London, Tess was based in Paris for 5 years. Daly then returned to London before she moved to New York for five years for her work.

In the year 1990, she made her appearance in two Duran Duran videos for the songs entitled Serious and Violence of Summer. She also appeared nude in a video for 1993 song of The Beloved entitled as Sweet Harmony.

Additionally, Daly was also the face of a lingerie company called La Senza in the UK and she also made her appearance in their Steal the Show Christmas 2009 campaign.
